The spouse and children of an active Service member who are reassigned outside of Nevada will remain eligible as long as they remain continuously enrolled in an educational institution supported by the state of Nevada. All military veterans with a driver's license, a state ID with a veteran designation, or a DD 214 form are entitled to a reduced transportation fee. The Transportation Network System for Disabled American Veterans (DAV) for Southern Nevada provides veterans with transportation to VA medical appointments at VA medical centers that would otherwise have no means of transportation.
